(elbcradio.com/Dec. 31, 2015)-In other sporting news, the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) has dismissed the appeal filed by the President Liberia Football Association (LFA), Musa Bility.

The LFA President recently appealed against World Football Governing Body (FIFA)’s decision to deny him participation in the Association’s Presidential Election in February, 2016.

FIFA’s Ethics Committee recently denied Mr. Bility’s quest to stand in the up-coming election on grounds that he failed a FIFA Integrity Check.

The Liberia Football Association President appeared before the Court of Arbitration for Sports to ensure that the decision to bar him from contesting the election was overturned and that he gets compensation for alleged damages to his character.

Musa Bility has, meanwhile, expressed regret over CAS’ ruling, made earlier Thursday, December 31, 2015.
