(elbcradio.com/Feb. 9, 2016)-The Government of Liberia has announced that former Managing Director of the Liberia Petroleum Refinery Company, (LPRC), Harry Greaves, died of drowning.

Quoting the initial autopsy report conducted on the body of Mr. Greaves, Justice Minister, Benedict Sannoh, said contrary to speculations of foul play, there was no evidence of such report.

The autopsy was conducted Saturday, February 6, 2016 by two American pathologists, Doctors Thomas Bennett and Mathias Okoye of the Nebraska Institute of Forensic Sciences.

Minister Sannoh said: “There was no evidence of rectum penetration, neither acid being used on the body of Mr. Greaves.”

“The body was moderately decomposed and is fracture on his head,” he said.

Reports say Mr. Greaves went missing Saturday, January 30, 2016 and later discovered dead Sunday, January 31, 2016 on a beach in Monrovia.

He also served as Economic Advisor to the Chairman of the defunct Liberia National Transitional Government (LNTG) following a 14-year civil conflict in Liberia.
