(elbcradio.com/Feb. 9, 2016)- The Liberian Government has vowed to prosecute the Political Leader of the Movement for Progressive Change, Simeon Freeman for his recent utterances.

Government’s pronouncement comes barley a week after Mr. Freeman alleged that the Unity Party-led Administration has listed ten political figures, including him for elimination.

Government also said, it will not relent to prosecute anyone other person whose actions will threaten the country’s peace and security.

Justice Minister, Benedict Sannoh, sounded the warning Tuesday, February 9, 2016 when government formally released provisional autopsy report on the body of former LPRC Managing Director, Harry Greaves

The autopsy was conducted by Doctors Thomas Bennett and Mathias Okoye of the United Sates-based Nebraska Institute of Forensic Sciences.

Cllr. Sannoh said: “While government supports the concept free press and expression, those violating such would be held liable in accordance with law.”

“Liberians must see the drawdown of UNMIL and the pending 2017 General and Presidential Elections as two critical periods in the country’s history, “he noted.

Cllr. Sannoh warned that unless these two critical stages are carefully guided by Liberians through constructive approaches, including responsible reportage and utterances, Liberia could run into chaos.

The Attorney General of Liberia also called for collaboration in sustaining the country’s hard earned peace.
