President Sirleaf makes new appointment

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf,  has made additional appointments in government affecting the Ministries of Finance and Development Planning, Foreign Affairs, Internal Affairs and the Central Bank of Liberia.

The appointments cover the General Auditing Commission and the Independent National Commission on Human Rights.

In an Executive Mansion released April 15, 2015 in Monrovia, named those appointed as Milton Weeks, Executive Governor, Central Bank of Liberia, Mr. Kolli Tamba, Member of the Board of Directors and Mrs. Elsie Dossen Badio, Member of the Board of Directors.

Others   include Boima Kamara, Minister of Finance & Development Planning, while Dr. James Kollie expects to take up a new position to be named.

Those appointment at t the Independent National Commission on Human Rights, are Atty. Oretha Snyder Davis, as Commissioner and Atty. James Torh  re appointed as Commissioner

At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Rev. Jervis Witherspoon, appointed asChief of Protocol; replacing Mr. Charles Allen who goes into Diplomatic Service, while Emmanuel Munyeneh, is appointed as Assistant Minister for International Cooperation.

Mr. Adam Sheriff goes to the General Auditing Commission, as Deputy Auditor General – Assurance Quality, while at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Sara. Kullie, is made  Mayor of Voinjama City, Lofa County

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Honorable Liberian Senate were applicable.
