UL Alumni Association to raise US$2m

MONROVIA, LIBERIA -The Alumni Association of the University of Liberia (AAUL) is to shortly launch a major fund drive in Monrovia.

The Fund Drive, a part of efforts to assist the UL grapple with its financial difficulties, is intended to raise two million United States Dollars to help ease such financial burden of the learning institution.

A released April 18,2016 says the major fund drive will shortly take place in the UL auditorium on Capitol Hill, with Vice President, Joseph Boakai, to serve as Chief Launcher.

The Alumni Association has constituted the UL Alumni Fund Drive Campaign (ULA-Fund) to coordinate the initiative.

The ULA-Fund has, meanwhile, projected and targeted an overall fund drive campaign to raise the two million Dollars based on short, medium and long-term approaches.

All funds raised will be directed toward faculty and infrastructural developments, and other operational costs of the University.
