Chief Executive Sirleaf in Gbarpolu for 40-km road groundbreaking

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia's Chief Executive, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, along with entourage, is by now in Gbarpolu County to break grounds for the construction of a 40-kilometer road in the county.

According to Gbarpolu County Senator, Amah Jallah, the road, when completed, will connect Muanla-Kwelleh Town in Bokomu District to Geu-Nwolaila District Headquarters, Pala-Kwelleh, and to several other towns and villages in the area.

LINA quotes Senator Jallah as saying: “The groundbreaking will pave the way for the construction of several other feeder roads in Gbarpolu County.”

“Improvement of the road network in the Gbarpolu County is crucial to the county’s development,” he said.

Senator Jallah who is also President Pro-Tempore of the Liberian Senate noted: “With support from the Executive Branch of government, all will be done by the Gbarpolu County Caucus to make the road project a reality.”
