Liberia bonds bilateral relationship with Kazakhstan, Belarus

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia has established diplomatic relations with the Republics of Kazakhstan and Belarus with commitments by all sides to promote and strengthen friendship in All spheres of development. 

The three countries also said they look forward toward improving their interactions at the highest levels.

According to a dispatch from the Liberian Mission in New York, Liberia, Kazakhstan and Belarus made the commitment recently in the American City.

They, in separate communiqués, also committed themselves to consolidate friendly relations, based on mutual respect for national sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity and non- interference in each other’s internal affairs.

The communiqués further noted that the countries will exert efforts to observe diplomatic protocols, including those of the United Nations’ Charter, the Provisions of the Vienna Conventions on Diplomatic Relations of 18 April 1961, and the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of 24 April 1963, respectfully.

Signing on behalf of the Liberian Government, George Patten, Charge d’Affaires at the Permanent Mission of Liberia, stressed the importance of establishing relationship between Liberia and the other two countries.

He urged further steps be taken to concretize the existing relations for the benefit of the countries involved.
