SANNIQUELLIE, NIMBA COUNTY- Vice President, Joseph Boakai, says the establishment of service centers is in fulfillment of government’s support to its Decentralization Program.

Vice President Boakai said: “The service centers are primarily intended to curb the centralized bureaucracies at government ministries and agencies over decades ago.

“Upon completion, all decentralized service centers across the country, would have the oversight to issue Traditional Marriage Certificates, Birth Certificates, Business Registration, Drivers’ Licenses, among others.

The Liberian Vice President spoke Monday, May 2, 2016 when he dedicated Nimba County Service Center in the provincial capital, Sanniquellie.

Vice President Boakai said: “A total of 12 more service centers are expected to be opened by July this year.”

He urged the citizens of Nimba County to take advantage of the facility by utilizing the available services in the county.

The dedication of the Nimba County Service Center brings to three a total number of centers already dedicated by government

.Recently, the Liberian Government dedicated service centers in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County and Kakata, Margibi County, respectively.
