MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Special Presidential Task Force set up to investigate the Global Witness (GW) Corruption Report on Liberia says it has called in all parties named or linked to the scandal.

A release quotes the Minister of State Without Portfolio and Chairman of the Task Force, Fanati Koffa, as saying individuals linked to the scandal have been cited to appear before the investigative team with their lawyers for inquiries on the allegations levied against them in the report.

Meanwhile, the Task Force has reiterated its commitment to ensuring the conduct of an impartial and transparent process.

At the same time, the Task Force is encouraging those allegedly accused in the report to maintain calm and refrain from acts that could prejudice the ongoing investigation process, as everyone is deemed innocent until proven otherwise.
