MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Twenty children have been denied Liberian citizenship by the Bong County Service Center (BCSC).

The Head of the Service Center, Jefferson Gbanyan, told our Correspondent, the children were denied Liberian citizenship, because
Their parents could not prove they are Liberians.

Mr. Gbanyan, said most of the children’s parents could not provide any tangible information as to which parts of Liberia they are from. He however said some of them admitted that their parents recently brought them from neighboring Guinea.

The Head of the Bong County Service Center also told our Correspondent that most of the children and their parents could neither speak English nor did they know which clans or districts they hail from.
