Pres. Sirleaf makes additional appointments in government

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has made additional appointments in government affecting the Liberia Maritime Authority (LMA).

According to an Executive Mansion release, those appointed are Dr. James Kollie –Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer, Charles Gono –Deputy Commissioner for Vessel Registration and Safety, Monrovia office.

Others are Yvonne Clinton –Deputy Commissioner for Vessel Registration, New York, and Margaret Ansumana –Deputy Commissioner for Maritime Operations.

President Johnson-Sirleaf also appointed Emmanuel Reeves as Deputy Commissioner for Financial Affairs, Isaac Jackson –Permanent Representative to the International Maritime Organization (IMO), and Harry Conway –Alternate Permanent Representative to the IMO.

According to the release, these appointments are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate were applicable.
