MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Bong County Technical College Board of Trustees’ Chairman, Walter Wiles, is encouraging the College’s employees to remain committed, if it must achieve its mission of providing quality education.

Dr. Wiles said the Bong County Technical College is the only public institution running a 4-year degree program and must do everything to ensure it becomes second to none.

According to our Correspondent, he made the statement at a two-day retreat taking place at the Central Agriculture Research Institute (CARI) in Suakoko, Bong County.

Speaking at the formal opening of the retreat, Dr. Wiles urged the administration of the College to use the retreat to re-assess and come up with a comprehensive accessible plan to move the institution forward.

The retreat was organized by the administration of the Bong County Technical College and is part of efforts by the school’s administration to identify progress and challenges the College is being faced with.

Our Correspondent said, the retreat is also being attended by members of the Civil Society and some prominent citizens of the County.
