NCEC launches National Excellence Awards

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Center for Excellence and Creativity (NCEC) officially launched season V of its National Excellence Awards (NEA).

The launch took place Wednesday September 21, 2016 at the NCEC Secretariat in Paynesville.

The NEA honors outstanding Liberians whose exemplary life, professional efforts, and personal sacrifices deserve national recognition.

The Awards, by all accounts, is the highest platform that reflects on national pride and encourages the pursuit of excellence through its acknowledgment of distinguished Liberians.

According to the 2016 Awards’ National Coordinating Director, Josiah Jokai, this year event, to be held under the theme, “Patriots and Leaders, will take place on December 16 at the Paynesville City Hall.

Mr. Jokai said: “This year’s event is tagged, “Vision” signifying a defining period in Liberia’s democratic transition requiring all hands on deck with focus on patriotism and exemplary leadership deeply embedded in the hearts of all Liberians.”

The categories of awards, to be given out to deserving recipients, cut across all facets of the Liberian society. These categories include, institutional, educational, entertainment, posthumous, continental, ect.

The 2016 National Excellence Awards is named and branded “Carol Awards” and it promises to be a bomb blast as it seeks to bring together Liberian celebrates from all works of life of the country.
