MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Deputy Minister of Information, Isaac Jackson, has described the Unity Party-led government as a Press centralized regime, compared to any other regime in Liberia’s political history.

Deputy Minister Jackson said: “People often criticized officials of government, including President Johnson-Sirleaf, without being hunted, or arrested.”

He was responding to statements attributed to Presidential hopeful, Benoni Urey, that the Johnson-Sirleaf-led Administration recorded the “worse” democratic history.

Minister Jackson made the statement Tuesday, October 4, 2016 in an interview with ELBC in Paynesville.

The Deputy Information Minister described Mr. Urey’s claime is Untrue and only intended to score “political advantage” over the Johnson-Sirleaf-led Government.

“Mr. Urey connived with former President, Charles Taylor, to deplete the Liberia’s coffers at the detriment of the citizenry,” Deputy Information Minister Jackson alleged.
