LEC to begin fixing Bushrod station electricity Sunday

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Management of the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC) says the National Contracting Company will begin the installation of essential electrical equipment at the Bushrod Power Generating Station in Monrovia.

The installation of essential electrical equipment at the Bushrod Power Generating Station will be carried out Sunday, October 9, 2016.
 
A release quotes LEC Public Relations Specialist, James Kpargoi, as saying: “During the installation, customers in the affected areas will experience power outage to run from 7:30 am to 11:30 am Sunday.”

Meanwhile, LEC is cautioning customers in areas to be affected to make the necessary preparations in relation to the power outage.

Recently, communities in Paynesville underwent similar power outage during the installation of electrical equipment in the area by LEC.
