MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Principal Investigator for the Ebola Natural History Study in Liberia, Mosoka Fallah, says the country is on the brink of history-making.

Dr. Fallah said the VSV vaccine was developed to end any Ebola outbreak worldwide.

He also said the VSV Vaccine was introduced as part of the workings of the Partnership for Research on Ebola Virus in Liberia (PREVAIL).

According to Dr. Fallah, there is an ongoing meeting in Guinea to test the vaccine in 5-thousand candidates.

He told newsmen at the Ministry of Information’s regular press briefing recently that the vaccine is pending approval and licensing.

The Principal Investigator for the Ebola Natural History Study in Liberia explained that Liberia is now pushing for the building of an infrastructure in Liberia for the vaccine to benefit the country.
