MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Movement in Support of Vice President, Joseph Boakai’s Presidential bid (NAMBO) is urging Liberians to refrain from tarnishing the integrity of VP Boakai.

NAMBO Chairman, Nyan Mantehn, referred to those engaged in such lies and deception as aristocrats who want to keep power to themselves against the popular will of the Liberian people.

Mr. Mantehn described VP Boakai’s Presidency as the best opportunity for Liberians to realize their full potentials, develop the nation and improve themselves, noting that Ambassador Boakai has an impeachable character, because he is a pragmatic and honest person.

He also dismissed rumors that President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has withdrawn her support from Vice President, Joseph Boakai’s Presidential bid and that President Johnson-Sirleaf was supporting another candidate for the Presidency.

The NAMBO Chairman said the rumors that President Johnson-Sirleaf has publicly declared her support for the Vice President to lead Liberia after 2017, lacks evidence and there is no need to give credence to them.

Meanwhile, the Movement to support Vice President, Joseph Boakai’s Presidency says it will shortly embark on a nationwide consultation to educate the Liberian people on their decisions at the poll in 2017.

The Secretary General of NAMBO, Robert Kpadeh, said the pending consultation is not a campaign for VP Boakai, rather a drive to hold conversation with and educate the Liberian people as being done by other Liberian politicians.
