Government wants citizens support HLP Conference

(lbsonline/Liberia)-The Liberian Government is urging its citizens to support and participate in the up-coming  International High Level Panel(HLP) Conference.

The High Level Panel Conference is expected to take place in Monrovia from January 29 to February 2nd, 2013.

The meeting will be co-chaired by President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, along with British Prime Minister, David Cameron.

Speaking at a news conference Thursday,
Information Minister, Lewis Brown, told lbsonline that the HLP meeting in Monrovia signifies that Liberia has gained her rightful place in the comity of nations.

Minister Brown cautioned Liberians to work together for the success of the HLP conference, the biggest International meeting to be held in the country since the Women Colloquium few years ago.

He said: “British Prime Minister Cameron, Indonesian President and several dignitaries are expected to be in Liberia for the conference.
