LBS to provide re-broadcast service to Southeastern Liberia

MONROVIA-The Director-General of the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS), Ledgerhood Rennie has disclosed plans to open a re-broadcast facilitate in 2017 to provide broadcast serves in parts of Liberia.

The purpose of the re-broadcast facilitate, which when established would help to relay programs, including pre-recorded and others  being aired by the States Broadcaster-LBS in Sinoe County including other Southeastern counties of the country.

Director-General, Rennie said: “The LBS Management will continue to provide quality services to the Liberian people through professional programing.”

Director-General, Rennie made the disclosure Monday, December 26, 2016   when he also revealed that the Liberia National Television (LNTV) will be expended to boost viewership of the national Broadcaster.

He called on Liberians to continue reposing trust in the National Broadcaster, stressing, “the management is doing all it can to change the public perception about LBS.”

Mr. Rennie said  LBS has been elevated from its low status in the past, to a brighter broadcaster as evidence  by the  Press Union of Liberia (PUL) and the National Excellence Awards  recognition as best station of the year.
