MARGIBI, LIBERIA-The Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of Liberia, President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, has commended the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) for their commitment and loyalty to national duties.

President Sirleaf said: “The good work of the Armed Forces of Liberia is not only being felt in Liberia, but across the borders of the country.”

She made reference to the Liberian army participation and contributions to international peace keeping operations in Mali.

The CIC of the Armed Forces of Liberia made the commendation Tuesday, December 27, during the AFL’s 2016 Orientation Day held at the Edward Banyan Kesselle Military Barracks (EBK) in Lower Margibi County.

The Liberian leader also said the ALF’s work and other duties is a form of constructive pay back that will continue to be reflected in the history of the African continent.

President Sirleaf noted that Liberia in its interactions with other nations would always support mutuality as a notable human concept.
