MONROVIA-The Government of Liberia has launched the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) National Sensitization and Awareness Campaign in the country.

Speaking at the launch of the Program at the Paynesville Town Hall on March 9, 2017 President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf said the exercise is intended to showcase involvement in the implementation of the ARPM.

She said:” Superintendents and other local government authorities, including ministers, will have to work harder so that the country can catch up with other African Countries which began the process earlier.”

President Sirleaf thanked Dr. Sawyer, whom she considers the architect of the APRM and Finance and Development Planning Minister, Boima Kamara, for his hard work in moving the process forward.
