MONROVIA-A two-day retreat for Liberian Ambassadors and Heads of Diplomatic Missions ends today in Paynesville City.

An Executive Mansion Release on March 9, 2017 said President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf opened the retreat Thursday which is being held under the theme: "Promoting Liberia's Transformation Agenda through the Liberian Foreign Service". 

The release said the retreat constitutes working sessions that will cover various topics, including the Liberian Foreign Service, A partner for Transformative Economic Development; Overview of Liberia’s Development Architecture; Expected contribution of the Foreign Service; Liberia’s Investment Policy and Strategy.

Other topics under discussion are the Role of Foreign Service; New Automated Platform for Consular Service, Passport and Visas; Liberia’s Trade and Industrial Policies; Contribution of the Foreign Service and the Role of the Liberia Revenue Authority in the Management of Consular Fees among others.
