Liberia’s mission to the UN honors President Sirleaf

NEW YORK, USA-Liberia’s diplomatic mission to the United Nations headed by Ambassador Lewis Brown, has honored President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf for her dedicated services to Liberia.

Ambassador Lewis Brown said the President’s representation of Liberia at various levels has brought pride to the war ravaged Country.

Ambassador Brown said he and the staff at the Liberian Counsel at the UN remain grateful to the President for her leadership and contributions to the rebuilding of Liberia.

The Liberian diplomat, flanked by his staff and Liberia’s Foreign Minister, Marjon Kamara, was speaking at a brief program in honor of President Sirleaf in New York.

They presented a plague, among others, to the President as a sign of their appreciation.

Responding to the honor, President Sirleaf expressed delight, but attributed her achievements to collective working efforts of all.

The Liberian Leader challenged officials and staff at the Liberian mission at the UN to continue  their best in promoting their Country.
