IOM presents items to Liberia Immigration Services

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The International Organization for Migration has presented several items to the Liberia Immigration Services (LIS), to help in its functions.

The items, according to LIS Chief of Press and Public Affairs, Laurie Page, include desktop computers, finger print detector and passport scanner.

Others are cannon camera and migration information data system.

Major Page said the items will be used at the Roberts International Airport and other border entry points in the country.

Speaking to ELBC Sunday, Major Paye disclosed:” LIS personnel will be deployed soon across the country for the October 10 Presidential and Representative Elections.”
