MONROVIA, LIBERIA-An International Trade Unionist has strongly spoken against disunity in the trade union sector of Liberia.

The Secretary General of the Organization of African Trade Union Unity said constant leadership crisis at the level of Liberia Labor Congress (LLC) has the potential to undermine the Country’s labor sector.

Arezki Mezhoud wants trade unionists consider themselves as a symbol of peace and unity in Liberia.

Mr. Mezhoud spoke over the weekend at the fourth National Convention and elections of the Liberia Labor Congress.

He said:” In the absence of unity the Liberia Labor Congress cannot achieve its goals.”

Meanwhile, David Sackoh has been elected Secretary General of LLC.

At the same time LBS workers union president Moses Dorbor was appointed on resolution committee of the Liberia Labor Congress.
