MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Coalition for Democratic Change, CDC is calling on the National Elections Commission to put in corrective measures ahead of the November 7 presidential run-off election. CDC campaign Spokesman, Ansu Soni, said the call is aimed at preventing recurrence of

huge invalid votes experienced in the first round of the elections. Speaking to ELBC Monday, October 23, 2017, Professor Soni noted over 84-thousand invalid votes during the October 10-elections were alarming.

Professor Soni attributed the huge invalid votes from the October 10 elections to poor preparation and training of NEC staff and presiding officers.

He also called on the two parties in the run-off to help the National Elections Commission educate voters ahead of the run-off on November 7,2017.
