MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Elections Commission says ballot papers for the November 7, 2017 run-off election will arrive in the Country on Saturday, October 28.

NEC Chairman, Cllr. Jerome Korkoyah, said the arrival of election materials is part of preparation already made for the November 7 poll.
Cllr, Korkoyah said:” Measures have been put into place to avoid the recurrence of minor lapses, including invalid votes for the ensuring for runoff election.”

Addressing a news conference at NEC Headquarters in Sinkor, Wednesday, he said his Commission will hire additional queue workers to address the issue of congestion and other lapses experienced durinmg the October 10 Elections.

Meanwhile, Cllr. Korkoyah has disclosed the conduct of a recount for the Representative poll in electoral District 8 in Nimba County.
