MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Elections Commission (NEC) has presented the Final Voters Roll (FVR) as requested by the Unity Party (UP) as part of hearing into the alleged irregularities and fraud complaints filed by four political parties with the NEC.

The NEC made the presentation Tuesday, November 14, 2017, as one of UP’s 15 counts complaint to the NEC.

The UP, is claiming massive elections fraud, irregularities and contending for a re-run of the 2017 elections.

The Up legal team subpoena NEC to produce the FVR and also to testify  in order to validate whether it was the identical Final Voters Roll given to political parties before the October 10 Elections.

During the hearing in the week, NEC Executive Director, Lamine Leigh, testified that the same procedure on the final Voters Roll used in the 2005 and 2011 elections was the same used during the October 10, 2017 elections.

Meanwhile, the NEC has mandated the UP Legal Team to appear with all of its witnesses, including former NEC Chairman, James Flomoyan, Francis Johnson Allison, Senator Geraldine Doe Shiriff, Augustine Ngafuahn, among other, at the Wednesday,November 15, 2017, hearing.

The All Liberia  Party (ALP), the Alternative National Congress (ANC) and the UP  are collaborating with the Liberty Party (LP)  that earlier took the NEC to the Supreme Court of Liberia as lead complainant to called  for a re-run of the entire October 10, 2017 elections, based on its claims of irregularities and fraud during polling.
