UN Envoy calls on gov’t to share Liberia’s problems

BENSONVILLE, MONTSERRADO COUNTY-The Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary General to Liberia,Farif Zarif, is challenging the three branches of the Government of Liberia to share the burdens of Liberia.

Mr. Zarif wants every branch of Government to do its part of the job that is profound of changing the living condition of Liberians.

The UN Envoy called on the National Legislature to act upon very important legislations that are languishing at the Legislature.

The UN Special Representative spoke Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the official opening of the Montserrado County Service Center in Bensonville.

Mr. Zarif also extended an appreciation message from members of the Security Council at the United Nations.

He said:” The commitment of Liberians to ensure that the election is free of violence sends a clear message that Liberia’s Democracy has matured.”
