Liberia Business Association praises Prez Weah for admitting its trials

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Business Association (LIBA) is commending President George Manneh Weah for recognizing challenges Liberian-owned businesses are faced with.

In his recent Inaugural Speech at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville, President Weah vowed that his Administration will remove all obstacles the Liberianization Policy is faced with, and ensured the full implementation of the policy.

The Leadership of the Liberian Business Association welcomes the President’s statements that the CDC-led Government will not permit Liberian-owned businesses remains spectators to their own economy.

In a press release issued Wednesday, January 24, 2018, LIBA described the President’s expressed desire to prioritize Liberian-owned businesses and support programs that will build their capacities.

The release noted that LIBA is ready to work with the Liberian Government to ensure that Liberian-owned businesses Community to demonstrate high degree of seriousness and provide quality goods and services and pay their taxes on time.
