MONROVIA,LIBERIA-Press Union of Liberia (PUL) President, Charles Coffey, says the Liberia Broadcasting System needs support to enable it disseminate government’s policies.

Mr. Coffey said:” The Liberian people will not know what government is doing if media houses, especially LBS, are not fully supported through its budgetary allotment.

Speaking Tuesday, January, 30, 2018, at the Turning over ceremony at LBS in Paynesville, Mr. Coffey called on the Weah-led Government to add more importance to the National Broadcaster.

The PUL President also noted that when LBS is fully supported, it will inform the citizens about government’s developmental initiatives.

Mr. Coffey then stressed that LBS is capable of promoting government’s policies and programs, provided the entity is fully empowered through budgetary allotment.
