MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Director General of the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS), Ledgerhood Rennie, is challenging stakeholders of the National Broadcaster to allocate adequate funding for LBS.

Mr.Rennie said:” There can be no other voice that can speak better for Liberia other than the voice of the Liberia Broadcasting System, and there is a need for serious empowerment.”

He said against such background, it is about time the much needed attention be given the system to give it a facelift, considering infrastructural development and the welfare of workers.

The LBS Director General, however, urged workers of LBS to be industrious in executing their respective duties.

He thanked the workers for their cooperation over the period, and expressed gratitude to President George Manneh Weah for affording him the opportunity to continue what he has started.

Mr.Rennie was speaking Thursday, February 22, 2018, at the compound of the National Broadcaster, in Paynesville City, when he officially resumed duty as Director General of LBS after his confirmation.
