President Weah in Nigeria, First Lady Clar in Morocco

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Manneh Weah has arrived in the Federal Republic of Nigeria on a one day official visit.

The Minister Counselor for Press and Public Affairs at the Liberian Embassy in Nigeria, Nat Bayjay, said President Weah and his Nigerian counterpart, Muhammadu Buhari, are expected to hold bilateral talks.

The talks will center on the Nigeria-Liberia Joint Commission’s three pillars; Agriculture, Capacity building and Timber Trade, between the two West African leaders.

The Liberian leader, while in the country, is also expected to interact with a large Liberian community in the country.

At the same time First Lady, Clar Weah is currently in Morocco, representing Liberia at a symposium on women soccer.

The symposium is being organized by the Confederation of African (CAF) and partners, is aimed at raising the standards of women football on the African continent.

First Lady Weah, is expected to attract the needed support for the development of boys and girls sports in the country.
