Prez Weah to break grounds for construction of military hospital

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah is expected to shortly break grounds for the construction of a Military Hospital in the Country.

The President will set the stage for the construction of the Nation’s first Military Hospital on Monday March 26.

Making the disclosure Friday, March 16, 2018, at MICAT’s press briefing, Information Minister Eugene Nagbe said President Weah will approve the final design on March 19, 2018, after all the feasibility and technical studies are done.

He said:” The Hospital will be constructed by the Engineering Battalion of the Armed Forces of Liberia which will save almost 40 percent of the total cost of the project.”

President George Manneh Weah made the promise to build Liberia’s first Military Hospital on February 11, 2018, during his maiden Armed Forces Day Address.

Meanwhile, Minister Nagbe has assured Liberians that President Weah has nothing to hide and will soon declare his latest assets.

He said the president is currently doing a collation of his various assets around the world and those assets will be declared when the process is concluded.

Minister Nagbe said President Weah has declared his assets on several occasions, even when he was not in government and will continue to do so.
