MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has got all of his document and forms aimed at declaring his assets in consonance with the Code of Conduct.

Among other things, the Code of Conduct demands public officials to declare their assets before assuming duties, or declare again if such person assumes another position.

Speaking to ELBC Monday, April 9, 2018, Information Minister Eugene Nagbe said:” In keeping with such law, President Weah is currently reviewing the various documents to accurately release his assets.”

It followed a 3-day hunger strike before the American Embassy by a political activist, Archie Ponpon, calling on President Weah to declare his assets.

Minister Nagbe said president Weah will declare his assets once he is done with filling in the various documents submitted to him.

He maintained that the President has declared his assets several times already and is not afraid to do it again at any given time.
