He said the Elections Commission has spent One- hundred-thousand Dollars on Candidate nominations and assessment of Bong County.

Addressing a press conference at the NEC headquarters in Monrovia Tuesday, May 8, 2018, he said Montserrado County is yet to be covered by the assessment.

Cllr. Korkoyah said the Commission needs to place 300 to 400 United States Dollars in Escrow account for the venders against ballot cost of 286 thousand Dollars.

The NEC Boss said the Commission will be asking for extension of time from the Legislature.

Cllr Korkoyah however said the writ issued for bye election in May will stand as they negotiate with government for additional funding.
