Prez Weah to attend Sierra Leone Leader’s inauguration

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Manneh Weah leaves Liberia this Saturday for Sierra Leone to attend the inauguration ceremony of his Sierra Leonean Counterpart, Julius Maada Bio.

The program is scheduled for Saturday, May 12, 2018, in the capital Freetown.

President Weah’s trip is a result of an invitation extended him by President Bio during his one-day working visit to Liberia on Tuesday, May 8, 2018.

The President will be accompanied by House Speaker Bhofal Chambers, President Pro Tempore Albert Chie, Foreign Minister Gbehzongar Findley, Finance Minister Samuel Tweah and Emmanuel Shaw, Advisor to the President.

Others are Daniel Ziankahn, Minister of National Defense, and Information Minister Len Eugene Nagbe among others.

Meanwhile, the Minister of State for Presidential Affairs and Chief of Staff, Nathaniel Farlo McGill, will chair the cabinet in close consultation with the Vice President of Liberia, Madam Jewel Howard Taylor while the President is away.
