US Govt makes presentation to Justice Ministry…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The United States Embassy near Monrovia has presented five-hundred uniforms, booths and other accessories to the Justice Ministry for personnel at the Bureau of Corrections and Rehabilitation (BCR).

Speaking Thursday, May 24, 2018, during the presentation, US Ambassador, Christine Elder, said the US Government is pleased with progress being made in various security agencies of Liberia.

Ambassador Elder said besides, the US   Government is satisfied with the professionalism being carried out by state security personnel.

She disclosed that the five-hundred uniforms and accessories will be used by 250 personnel of the BCR.                             

Receiving the items, Justice Minister Musah Dean spoke of the assistance given the various state security institutions from the United States Government.

Mr. Dean said the uniforms will help personnel of the Bureau discharge their duties with dignity, and thanked the US for the gesture.
