MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has mandated the Justice and Education ministers to resolve the impasse that is impeding normal studies at Cuttington University in Suakoko, Bong County.

Education Minister D. Ansu Sonii and Justice Minister Cll.Musa Dean, along with Bishop Jonathan Hart, the Chairman and members of the Board of Trustees are to proceed to Suakoko to resolve the stalemate at the University.

A release issued Wednesday, May 31, 2018, quotes the President as having mandated the delegation to proceed the Episcopal Church-run University today, Wednesday, May 30, 2018 to carry out the instruction.

Meanwhile, President George Weah is urging all aggrieved parties to work along with the delegation to amicably resolve the standoff at Cuttington University to allow normal classes to resume.

The Liberian Leader’s mandate comes as a result of the May 14, 2018 go-slow action by the Faculty Association of that University.

President Weah, in the release, said that he is concerned about the Faculty Association’s resolve to resume their protest action, a situation that has the propensity of again denying students to pursue their studies.

It can be recalled that the Faculty Association of Cuttington University called for the President of the University, Dr.Herman Browne’s resignation following complaints of alleged poor management of the institution.
The recent crisis at the school at the university was suspended due to the University Board of Trustees’ intervention.
