BONG MINES, LIBERIA-Market women of Bong Mines in Fuamah District, Bong County are calling on the government of Liberia to provide a loan facility for them.

The women complained that at the moment things are tough and it is difficult to make business under the current economic situation.

Speaking to ELBC in Bong Mines over the Weekend, the Superintendent of the Bong Mines Market, Mammie Harris-Vannah, said many of her members have stop selling because they lack money.

Madam Vannah believes securing a loan of least 1(M) million Liberian Dollars will change the lives of over five- hundred marketers in Bong Mines.

She then called on the government to focus on the plight of the people living in Bong Mines.

Madam Vannah said:” China Union has let the people of Bong Mines down, and at the moment economic condition in Bong Mines is very tough.”

She also wants the government to help address the suffering of the people of lower Bong County, especially as it relates to food.

According to madam Vannah, people in Bong Mines cannot afford the overpriced of basic commodities, mainly food on the local market.
