USAID-LGSA/Gov’t regional Geometrics Education exams end

MONROVIA, LIBERIA - The USAID – Land Governance Support Activities in collaboration with Government of Liberia has completed an exam to recruit 30 candidates of youth and adults in Geometrics Education training in surveying.

USAID - LGSA Land Administration Specialist, Archie Bawo, said successful candidates will be sponsored by USAID- LGSA for 10-month training in general surveying.

The program is expected to kick off this October, at the Forestry Training Institute (FTI) in Bomi County, after which qualified candidates will be employed in the sector to help minimize land conflict.   

The Geometrics Education Program Coordinator will cost about US 380,000 will enroll qualified students taking care of feeding, housing academic fees among others during the training.

The final regional exams in the series of five across the nation took place recently in Monrovia, at the Tubman High School Campus, where about 150 candidates including 27 females sat the basic mathematics and English public test.
