MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah is extending heartfelt condolence to the Gray family and the entire Law Enforcement Community for the death of their son and colleague, Police Commissioner Miekee Gray.

President Weah said: “Commissioner Gray’s death has created a deep void within the Law Enforcement Community and his service to Nation has left an indelible mark in the hearts of the Liberian people.”

He also said Commissioner Gray will forever be remembered for the level of passion and dedication he brought to his work as Commissioner of Police for Operations, and the high level of patriotism he exhibited in serving Liberia.

According to a release, the President made the statement Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in Monrovia.

President Weah then hoped and prayed that God will comfort the bereaved family as they grieve, and will strengthen their resolve to overcome the devastation caused by the death of their son.

The Liberian Leader emphasized that Liberia has lost another great son and prayed that his soul rests in perfect peace.

Police Commissioner Miekee Gray died Tuesday, July 9, 2018, at a local hospital in Monrovia, following an illness.
