Sign Africa Logging Company workers go on strike

ZORZOR DISTRICT,LOFA COUNTY-Workers at the Sign Africa Logging Company in Foyiema Village, Zorzor District, Lofa County, are said to be on strike in demand of their salary arears.

According to our Correspondent, the workers have vowed to continue their go-slow until they get their pay.

The workers are claiming that the Company owes them two months arrears and have always made unfulfilled promises concerning salary payment.

Our Correspondent told ELBC Tuesday, August 21, 2018, that workers set up road blocks to the main entrance of the Company’s facilities, and on the two major routes leading to both camps in which the Company operates.

The striking workers are said to be more concerned about their families, especially getting their children back to school for this academic year
