Liberia Broadcasting System’s Radio Announcer, Producer dies

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia Broadcasting System’s (LBS) Radio Announcer and Producer, Prince Tulay, has died.

According to family sources, Prince Tulay died Thursday morning, August 23, 2018,  at the John F. Kennedy Medical Hospital in Sinkor, following a protracted of illness.

Prior to his demise, Mr. Tulay was assigned with the System’s Radio Department as producer of the Saturday Morning Program, The SAM Jam, as well as the Super Morning Show, among others.

Mr. Tulay, popularly called by his colleagues as Royal PREZONIC, has been in the employ of the System since February 16, 2012.

Meanwhile, the Management of LBS says it deeply regrets the passing of Mr. Prince Tulay.

The Management described Mr. Tulay as a committed employee and his death as sadden.

It says Mr. Tulay will always be remembered for his dedicated services to LBS and to Liberia at large.

In a related development, the LBS Management expresses its deepest condolences to the bereaved family for the irreparable loss.

For its part, the LBS Workers’ Union says the memories of Prince will forever remain fresh on the minds of his colleagues.

The Union says it joins the LBS Management to extend its un-ending sympathy to the bereaved Family for the un-timely demise of one of its members.

At the same time, the LBS Management says a Book of Condolence will be opened Monday, August 27 at LBS beginning 11AM.
