Liberia needs responsible human rights sensitive security institutions…-Rev.Colley

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Acting Chairperson of the Independent National Commission on Human Rights (INCHR) has underscored the need to institutionalize human rights education at military and security institutions across the country.

Rev. Bartholomew Colley said:” If Liberia is to develop, it needs responsible human rights sensitive security institutions.”

Speaking Wednesday, September 19,2018, at the Launch of a baseline study report for the structural provision of human rights education for the Liberia National Police (LNP), Rev. Colley described as key, the promotion and protection of human rights of Citizens and Residents in the country

The project is at the same time expected to be included into LNP Training Curriculum.
