Limited budget affects full postal delivery services

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Post and Telecommunications Minister Cllr. Cooper Kruah says limited budgetary support is adversely affecting the full delivery of postal services in rural communities across the Country.

Minister Kruah  said: “The Ministry remains determined to directly impact the entire citizenry through the establishment of postal financial services and other related services of inclusion that are crucial to the economic development of Liberia”.

He said his administration will continue to promote the new era of e-commerce and e-communications to enhance the economic transformation of the Country.

Minister Kruah spoke Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Program marking the 144th celebration of World Postal Day held in Monrovia. According to Minister Kruah, “The Ministry’s three pillars of innovation, integration and inclusion will continue to reinforce the development of new program under his watch”.

He said the World Postal Day celebration was intended to create awareness on the Post and the telecommunication sector of the Country, and described the sector as extremely important to the rest of the world.
