MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The opposition All Liberia Coalition Party (ALCOP) says it has distance itself from a reported resolution signed Friday, October 12, 2018 by some opposition parties accusing the Liberian Government of corruption.

ALCOP, in a Press statement, said while it does not support and encourage corruption, it also does not welcome the manner and form in which some opposition political parties are going about issuing statements and signing resolutions in the name of the opposition Bloc.

ALCOP said it is in full knowledge of an investigation into the alleged missing 16b Liberian Dollars and cannot be calling for another investigation.

The Party said it is in no way a part of the said resolution and that its Chairman, Mohammed Dagogoh Fahnbulleh, acted on his own.

ALCOP described Mr. Fahnbulleh’s action as unilateral and totally undermines the party’s integrity, independence and constitution.

The Executive Committee of ALCOP has, meanwhile, suspended Chairman Fahnbulleh for time indefinite for his action which the party says has brought the party to public disrepute.

The Committee has appointed Mr. Ansu Dulleh, National Vice Chairman of Administration as Acting National Chairman.
