Pres. Weah returns home from Paris Peace Forum

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Manneh Weah has returned to Liberia after participating in the first ever edition of the Paris Peace Forum.

President Weah was among several world leaders who participated in ceremonies marking the one-hundred Anniversary of the end of World War I on Sunday, November 11, 2018.

November 11, also known as Armistice Day, marks the signing of a peace deal between the Allied Forces and Germany in Compiegne, France, to end the First World War.

In addition to other ceremonies, the Liberian Leader also spoke at a UNESCO Internet Forum during which he emphasized the impact of the internet on the New World Order.

President Weah also used the occasion at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris to remind world Leaders that the world remains unstable, stressing the need for global action towards the sustenance of peace.

The Liberian leader touched down at the Roberts International Airport in Margibi County, after his largely successful trip to the French capital.
