The US Gov. will stay with Liberia in the fight against human trafficking

MOMROVIA, LIBERIA-The United States Ambassador to Liberia, Christine Elder, says her government will remain engage with the Government of Liberia in tackling human trafficking.

Ambassador Elder welcomed efforts being applied by the Liberian Government through the Ministry of Labor, aimed at addressing issues of human trafficking, child labor and HIV at work places.

She said:” The United States Government will particularly provide support for training and public awareness in order to address the problems.”

The American Ambassador spoke Monday, November 19, 2018, at the start of the National Labor Conference at the Monrovia City Hall.

Madam Elder wants Liberian labor sector stakeholders to brainstorm and find ways of creating a decent work environment for all.
