Pres. Weah challenges newly appointed judges…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Manneh Weah is challenging judges he recently appointed to be independent in the discharge of their duties.

President Weah said:” My government remains supportive of the Judiciary System and be reminded that you were appointed to serve the Liberian people and not any political party or tribal.”

He urged them to dispense fair justice and promised that his government will create the necessary environment to ensure that cases on the various courts dockets are fest track.

President Weah noted that it is quite important for the government to support the Judiciary System.

He spoke Friday, November 23, 2018, at program marking the commissioning of newly appointed judges.

Speaking on behalf of his colleagues, Cllr. Roland Dahn assured that they will uphold the rule of law.

Cllr. Dahn said they were not appointed to serve any particular institution rather them the Country and the Liberian people.

He commended President Weah for the preferment and expressed their preparedness to work for the Liberian people.
